CANADIAN SHIPMENTS:

All orders exceeding $250 CAD (sub total pre-tax) are shipped for FREE within Canada via Canada Post. (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES)

We ship worldwide, please note that we have a minimum order value for shipping orders out (no minimum if you want to pick it up at the boutique.) Minimum order values for shipping: Canada minimum order value is $30.00 + tax CAD and the flat rate shipping is $20.00 CAD (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES).

The Church of Sinvention uses Canada Post Expedited Parcel method for FREE shipments. These "Free Shipping" parcels are fully insured up to $1000 CAD and includes a tracking number. If the value of the order is greater than $1000 CAD we will split the order up into 2 or more parcels. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch.  Parcels are sent as "Do Not Safe Drop" so the carrier should not leave your parcel unattended on your porch.  If you are not available to receive your parcel you should receive a delivery card notice from the carrier and instructions as to what postal counter you can pick it up from.  Please ensure you have your I.D. with you to receive your parcel.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide weekend delivery. Church of Sinvention and/or Canada Post have no control over delays due to parcel mis-handling once it leaves or studios.

Free Home Delivery Service for customers with addresses within the city of Stratford ON: We are happy to offer free home local delivery for orders with a subtotal of $100 or more. Deliveries are normally done towards the end of the business day. If the item is in stock, same day delivery is possible otherwise it would be the next normal business day. Please note there are no deliveries on Sunday / Monday as we are closed. Please also note that home deliveries are not covered by the same replacement insurance as it would be with the postal service. Ideally you are home to receive the order or please provide instructions upon order checkout as to where to leave the parcel in the event that no one is home. Failing that we will leave the parcel at the door, take a photo for proof of delivery and advise you that the delivery is complete.

USA SHIPMENTS:

We have a minimum order value for shipping: For the USA and Rest of World the minimum order value to ship is $40 CAD / $29 USD. (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES)

All orders exceeding $214.00 USD ($300 CAD) are shipped for FREE to the Continental USA via DHL Express delivery (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES). Shipping to the the USA is via DHL Express International as of October 1, 2025. We are extremely pleased to hear that so far, all of our USA customers are indicating that THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY PAYABLES DUE ON DELIVERY for shipments that include our in-house handmade leather goods. This is an evolving situation and if we hear that clients incur a payable to clear customs this will be updated.
*Because of the continuously evolving situation with USA tariffs and the elimination of the De Minimus threshold for USA customers we reserve the right switch delivery methods based on the latest information at hand in order to ensure the delivery process is as affordable as possible

American orders that do not exceed $214.00 USD ($300.00 CAD) qualify for $22.50 USD ($30.00 CAD) flat rate shipping via UPS Ground. (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES). These "Flat Rate" parcels are fully insured. If the value of the order is greater than $2500 CAD we will split the order up into 2 or more parcels so they can enter and clear customs informally. All parcels include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from DHL upon parcel dispatch. Please contact us for faster methods of delivery if required.

Parcels are sent as "Do Not Safe Drop" so the carrier should not leave your parcel unattended on your porch, a signature is required however we have had feedback that some drivers are disregarding this.  If you are not available to receive your parcel you should receive a delivery card notice from the driver and instructions as to where you can pick it up from or how to redirect your parcel.  If you need to retrieve your parcel from a pick up counter please ensure you have your I.D. with you. Please note that some DHL deliveries are not requesting signatures so it is important that you track your order with the tracking number that we will provide upon parcel dispatch.

Our Sinvention brand of handmade goods are all made in Canada and are CUSMA compliant and travel to the USA under the Free trade agreement between USA and Canada. We send all orders to the USA as "Delivery Duty Unpaid" and it the responsibility of the receive to pay those import fees.  We declare all parcels sent to the USA and for our handmade leather goods we use the HS Tax Code ID. 4205.00.80 "Other Articles of Leather" . We use domestic bovine leathers and our SINVENTION brand items are handmade in Canada.   For items not handmade here at our studio we will use the international corresponding HS tax Codes for each item. Those items may be subject to import fees and the receiver is responsible for these.

Please familiarize yourself with importing into the USA from Canada prior to placing your order. As of August 29, 2025 the USA De Minimus has been eliminated and all parcels entering the USA will be subject to local import sales taxes / duty / tariffs or brokerage fees.  The rates of duty and tariffs etc. are determined by USA Customs and are  based on the Country of Origin.  We have listed the Country of Origin in the product description for each item for your reference.  Some countries such as China will be subject to greater fees. Please bare this in mind as you select your goods for import purchase.

In addition to any taxes or duty owing for USA shipments we have been advised that the following new Brokerage / Entry Prep fees will be as follows (BUT SO FAR DHL HAS NOT BEEN CHARGING ANY ENTRY FEES, AND CUSTOMERS REPORT NO PAYABLE ON DELIVERY as of October 10/25) however in general this may be applied in the future:

$0 - $200 CAD value: $13.81 CAD ($10.00 USD approx) Entry Prep / Brokerage Fee
$200.01 - $800 CAD value: $27.63 CAD ($20.00 USD approx)  Entry Prep / Brokerage Fee
$800+ CAD $42.13 CAD ($30.00 USD approx) Entry Prep / Brokerage Fee
Disbursement fees: Remain unchanged at a rate of 2% or $5.00 minimum (which ever is greater based on the value of the order)

Please note that DHL customers have not reported back to us that they have any payables on delivery thus far when receiving our handmade leather goods. While receivers should intend on having a payable on delivery for customs fees - this simply has not been the case as of Oct 10, 2025.

Since the new USA administration has taken over in 2025 there have been many changes and there may be additional changes to importation rates / duties / taxes etc. We have no control over this evolving situation and do not know what fees will be charged by USA Customs, please reach out to them directly for answers and clarification. *** Please be advised that in the event of an unclaimed parcel or refused parcels for any reason we are happy to offer an in-store credit (no refunds) minus the cost of returned shipping dues (including any/all shipping fees, brokerage, duty taxes that we incur to receive the parcel back), minus a 30% re-stocking fee each item. We will not process any in house credits until we have the final bill from the shipping company to receive your parcel back and this could take up to 60 days, as we will be re-importing your order back into Canada and again is subject to brokerage/duty/ taxes/ return shipping fees. In some cases there will be no in-house credit left depending on the value of your purchase.

Church of Sinvention has no control over delays due to parcel mis-handling once it leaves or studios.  Church of Sinvention and / or DHL have no control over delays due to Customs and clearing.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS (World Outside Canada - USA):

International Shipments do not qualify for Free Shipping
We have a minimum order value for shipping: For the USA and Rest of World the minimum order value to ship is $40 CAD / $29 USD.

We export our handmade leather gear to addresses around the world regularly. We have 2 ways of determining your international shipping rates and you will be presented with these options upon check out. PLEASE NOTE THAT A PHONE IS REQUIRED FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Option1:
"International Flat Rate" shipping rates will be presented to you based on order dollar value.  International shipments will be sent via DHL couriers. Services are fully insured and include online tracking.  Your parcel will be subject to import sales taxes and / or duty / or brokerage fees, you are responsible for these charges and they are determined by your local customs office. DHL will reach out to you directly for any monies owing. (REMOTE LOCATIONS EXCLUDED WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING SHIPPING FEES)

Orders below $300 value - shipping rate is $50.00 CAD (approx. $39.00 USD)
Orders $300 - $500 value - shipping rate is $75.00 CAD (approx. $57.00 USD)
Orders above $500 value - shipping rate is $100.00 CAD (approx. $75.00 USD)

Option 2: "Shipping rates To Be Determined" (Choose this option if you want the order delivered to a PO Box) Once your order is packed and ready to go we will contact you with your shipping options and rates.  We will work out quotes for you that are calculated individually based on the actual packed box weight / size of parcel / value of contents and destination.  Sometimes this may be more economical but sometimes not.  If you chose to go this route you would then tell us your preferred method and then we will then send you a Paypal request for the shipping dues. Once shipping invoice is paid we will ship it out and forward you the tracking information. 

For international shipment quotes we use Canada Post (once the postal strike is over) / UPS / DHL.  We apply our volume discounts to the various rates to help you save.  All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record) and are based on the value of the goods purchased.  All parcels are fully insured and feature online tracking.

Customs Declarations

To ensure the end users' privacy we always use the most generic export declarations possible. For instance on our Sinvention Leather products we ship under the Harmonized Tax code 4205.00.80 for "Custom Leather Accessory - Other" and that is how leather items will be itemized and declared. Other products are declared are on an individual basis. If you have specific concerns regarding the customs declarations and it's wording please contact us directly using the contact form. USA Customers please read the above section on Shipping to USA

Any shipment delays due to Importing Customs of the destination country are not the responsibility of ChurchofSinvention or Canada Post/UPS/DHL, these are beyond our control and solely at the discretion of the Customs department for the importing destination country. 

Please note that delays are more frequent during high volume seasons such as Christmas. If your order is time sensitive please note that a Customs delay is possible and you should allow a few extra days travel time to avoid any disappointment.

All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record) We declare all parcels sent to the USA and we use generic terms for customs declarations to ensure privacy. Shipment Tracking 

Tracking numbers are emailed directly to you from Canada Post /UPS / DHL. We also send you shipping confirmation and tracking info upon parcel dispatch

We may be able to help if you are trying to track a lost order that has a tracking number, please contact our Customer Service department and allow 72 hours so that we can contact the carrier and begin a trace investigation.

Questions regarding currencies: Currency shown depends on where your I.P. address is based.

- If you are located in Canada you will see CAD funds pricing. If you are in Canada and you are seeing USD pricing you will need to change your I.P. address to a Canadian I.P. address (if you are using a different one or a VPN to access international content for services such as Netflix etc.)

- USA and International customers will be offered USD currency.

Handcrafting Lead Times and Order Dispatching

- All Sinvention branded items are handmade here in our highly specialized leather studios her in Stratford, Ontario Canada. We are a very in demand micro-fetish team hand making gear to satisfy clients worldwide. Currently there are only 2 leathersmiths handcrafting amazing gear so please be patient.

- Generally all items are made as per order, first come first serve. We generally quote 4 - 8 weeks for handcrafting of Sinvention leather items.  Orders may not take that long to handcraft but depending on size of order and time of year that quote may be accurate.  Busy seasons such as late fall through Valentine's Day may take longer.  Please take note of the lead times prior to placing your order.

- Rush orders are sometimes possible. Please use the product inquiry form or send an email to ask if it is possible. If we are able to do so please note that a rush order fee will apply (depends on items ordered). If you need an order by a specific date, please inquire before placing your order to ensure your needs can be met.

Payment Methods:
Online orders are all paid using Paypal.  You do not need a Paypal account to use this service.  It is simply a secure online payment processor that you can use any credit card with.

Order Status

You will receive an Order Confirmation email once your order is received. Sometimes our emails get filtered to spam folders, in efforts to help reduce missed correspondence we will also send a confirmation from our alternate Gmail account.  Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.

You can login to your account to check on the Order Status at anytime, here is breakdown of each:

Processed: Order has be received and payment is being verified Payment Received: Payment has been verified

In Production: Order is now moving to be in cue to be hand made for you . You will receive an email when the order goes into production, it will remain "In Production" until the order is complete and this may take several weeks, depending on items ordered and time of year. Please refer to the mouse over icon in the product listing for Availability - Made to Order.

Shipped: Once the order is dispatched we will update status to shipped and forward you your tracking information

Shipping Methods: Church of Sinvention ships very discretely in a plain box, always. Our return address will show as: from WLC or Ware Leather Corporation and we use generic terms for customs declarations to ensure privacy.

Please be sure to use your real name for the shipping address - in the event that you need to retrieve your parcel you will need your ID that matches the name on the delivery address. (Do not use nicknames, scene names etc. as the parcel may not be released to you)


Order Cancellation

To meet our online customers' expectations for quick delivery, orders for in-stock products are processed as quickly as possible and therefore you will need to contact Customer Service at sales@sinvention.com or call 519-273-3737 and speak to a representative to ensure you item has not already been shipped.

All Sinvention branded items are made by hand as per order. If you wish to cancel your order please do so within 48 hours. If it is past 48 hours please send us an email to see where your order is at.

If the items have been made and you still wish to cancel there is a 30% re-stocking fee that will be charged.

If your product has shipped you will need to refer to our Returns Policy for how that issue is handled.

Sinvention Warranty Policy

Sinvention will repair or replace any Sinvention made item free of charge under the following circumstances:

If the item has failed under normal usage. Normal usage is determined by us at the time you contact us for an RMA number or when we receive the item back at our studio.

We will not cover any item that has been abused or misused. Normal "wear and tear" and long term product use is not covered by this warranty.

Shipping costs are not covered by this warranty and are your responsibility.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

NEW INFO REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF SEX TOY ITEMS:

- Please be sure to wash your toy prior to first use
- In the event that you have a problem with your new toy after 30 days - you must make a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer
- Most sex toy brands have a limited warranty of 60 days, however 1 - 2 years is most common, Womanizer has a 5 year warranty and Satisfyer has a 15 year warranty.

Returns:
With prior approval from us a store credit may be issued on items returned in unused and new condition for any other reason within 10 days. Any store credit will be issued once the product is received at our studio and has been inspected for use and damage. (Must be new in the box, unopened, unused, cannot have any odours such as cigarettes, pet smell etc.) A 30% re-stocking fee will be deducted from the store credit value. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We request that product returns to be shipped via the postal system only, with signature required, please email us the tracking number. Please contact us for more information prior to sending anything back. (Please use the postal system as it is the most economical, if you send the return via a courier and we incur costs on our end to receive the returned items - we will deduct those fees from the store credit that will be issued.

Please check sizes or other requirements carefully when ordering.

For all non Sinvention branded items you can cancel your order within 48 hours after we have received it provided the order has not already shipped. A refund will be processed less a 15% re-stocking fee.

To ensure the safety and health of our customers, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that comes into contact with any bodily fluid. Once these items leave premises, we consider them to be used and non-returnable.

Due to the nature of Silicone Dildos, Ball and Phallic Gags, Floggers or Paddles, Custom and Made-to-Measure products, all sales of these items will be considered final.

Please contact us if you have a issue with a Sinvention branded item. If the item has been used or damaged in any way we reserve the right to NOT issue the store credit and only ship the product back to you at your expense including an extra handling fee.

There are no returns or exchanges on custom orders

"Use of the product" includes but is not limited to leather being bent or creased top straps caused by the opening of any strap from any buckle or closure on the item.

Replacement Units
If a Church of Sinvention sex product is found to be defective within 30 days of the invoice date, CoS will provide a warranty replacement unit at no charge provided a replacement is available. We may request that you return the defective unit for quality assurance testing.

To request a warranty replacement, please email sales@sinvention.com .

We do not issue cash, check, or credit card refunds - store credit only.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required. To request an RMA, email Customer Service sales@sinvention.com or dial 519-273-3737 and speak to Customer Service.

RMA must be requested within 10 days of the invoice date. Products must be shipped in the original manufacturer's box and include all tags, etc. RMA number must be written clearly on the package.

Returns must be shipped via the POSTAL SYSTEM with a method that includes insurance, a tracking number and it must be sent with a Signature Required upon delivery.

All return shipping must be paid by the customer, and tracking information should be emailed to sales@sinvention.com - we must be notified via email of the tracking info so we may watch for the parcel.

RMAs are valid for 10 days only. Products received after this period may be refused. Store credit, if applicable, will be issued within 7-10 business days of complete receipt of shipment.

If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your store credit.
